Maximizing a Single and Music Video Release
Big Yellow Dog provided us an opportunity in 2018 to help push a song off Logan Mize’s LP, Come Back Road. “Better Off Gone” was over a year old at that point but the label felt the track had gone unnoticed during the album release cycle. They wanted to create a digital marketing strategy and test the waters before going all in on a major budget PR & Radio campaign.
Using a new music video to kickstart growth, we were able to create ad spend strategies that helped catapult the track above and beyond expectations.
“Better Off Gone” ultimately became Logan’s top single across all platforms in just over 3 months.
Most notably, we were able to translate paid views on YouTube into real algorithmic growth. Paid views accounted for the majority of our early view counts.
