Who We Are
Venture Music is a Nashville-based artist development agency built on the belief that real artist careers are grown through connection, not just attention.
Founded in 2012 by Chris Nardone after years of working with artists and seeing the same pattern repeat - plenty of effort, plenty of activity, but no real momentum. What artists needed wasn’t more attention, it was a clear identity, a consistent presence, and a way to turn that attention into actual fans.
Today, the team is made up of strategists, creatives, and operators with backgrounds across management, touring, content, advertising, and direct-to-fan marketing. Everything lives under one roof, working toward a shared goal: helping artists define who they are, show up consistently, and grow a real, sustainable fanbase.
A Note from the Founder
When I started Venture almost 20 years ago, the music industry was imploding. That uncertainty created a lot of fear, but it gave me a clear vision for something great: a genuine opportunity for artists to now build careers on their own terms.
That idea is still at the core of everything we do. And if anything, it feels more urgent now than it did then.
Music doesn't just accompany our lives – it shapes us, and helps us make sense of the world. It consistently shows up in the moments that define us. It gives context for things we can't put into words. And it preserves memories in a way nothing else can.
Music has the power to do amazing things for anyone, anywhere, at any moment. That's why the people who create it are doing work that matters more than most realize.
But today, artists today are expected to be musicians, songwriters, performers, marketers, and influencers – all at the same time. The job requires you to be vulnerable on demand. Authentic on a schedule. Open enough to connect, but resilient enough to handle whatever comes back.
Very few people truly understand the level of pressure that creates. That anxiety doesn't get talked about enough, and we hope to help change that. Because artist development is as much about sustainability as it is visibility.
Whether you're just starting out, or you've already built momentum, the challenge is the same: How do you show up consistently in a way that's honest, sustainable, and meaningful?
That's the work in the simplest terms. And that's what we're here to help you do.
